Maned Wolf & Ipê
Description
This artwork celebrates one of the most iconic animals of the Brazilian Cerrado: the maned wolf (Chrysocyon brachyurus). Known for its long legs and elegant posture, the maned wolf moves through the open savannas of central Brazil as a quiet guardian of the landscape.
Surrounding the animal are the vibrant yellow ipê flowers, from the ipê tree, one of Brazil’s most beloved native species. When the ipê trees bloom, their bright yellow blossoms transform the dry Cerrado landscape into fields of color, marking the changing seasons.
By bringing these two symbols together, the artwork honors the unique biodiversity of the Cerrado biome, a rich and often overlooked ecosystem that is home to thousands of plant and animal species found nowhere else in the world.
Painted with detailed textures and vibrant colors, this piece is a tribute to the beauty, resilience, and ecological importance of Brazil’s native landscapes.
All art prints are sold unframed.
